Tweet completed her CD with scores all greater than 195 and 2 first places. She had several placements in open and was trained through Utility, however due to my returning to school to obtain my Masters Degree, we were unable to finish her UD title
Tweet is our third generation Outstanding Dam from obedience competition. Tweet had only 3 litters, and became a GRCA Outstanding Dam from the first two litters. She is the producer of the youngest dog all-breed to finish an Obedience Trial Championship – OTCH Benden’s Talk of Texas, owned by Sally Walker, finishing it at 2 years of age.
As with her mother and Grandmother, this line tends to be softer, usually not needing a strong correction. This line has proven to be excellent in obedience competition because of their seemingly natural attention and focus. We do have concerns about sound sensitivity with this line and are very aware of this when selecting puppies for competition but feel as we selectively pick stud dogs very strong in this area.. However, it is a fine line in keeping the sensitivity that makes them such easy dogs to train and so attuned to everything a handler does and removing the sound sensitivity issues.
